THE OPPORTUNITY
After nearly 13 years, Call of Duty returned to Nintendo platforms with Modern Warfare 4, marking one of the most significant platform expansions in franchise history. More than announcing a new platform, the launch introduced one of gaming's most iconic franchises to a new generation of Nintendo players while preserving the identity that defines Call of Duty.
BRINGING IT TO LIFE
Bringing Call of Duty to Nintendo required more than adapting an existing campaign. This trailer needed to celebrate the franchise's return while demonstrating that Modern Warfare 4 was purpose-built for Nintendo Switch 2. From the earliest stages of concept development, we focused on capturing players' excitement through authentic reactions, showcasing the awe of experiencing Call of Duty on a Nintendo console for the first time in more than a decade. We also highlighted the versatility of the Switch 2 experience through handheld and docked gameplay, gyro aiming, Joy-Con, and Pro Controller support. I'm proud to have led pre-production and production of this marquee Nintendo reveal trailer, partnering with Activision leadership, Nintendo Co., Ltd. (NCL Japan), Nintendo of America, and our agency partner, Aspect, to bring the creative to life.
THE LAUNCH
The Nintendo Switch 2 reveal trailer became the most-viewed M-rated game trailer across Nintendo's official channels from launch in August through September 2026, serving as a flagship asset within the global Modern Warfare 4 campaign. Featured across Nintendo's digital ecosystem and amplified through Activision's worldwide launch, the trailer successfully reintroduced Call of Duty to Nintendo audiences while generating overwhelmingly positive community reception as well as being the #1 title on the Nintendo eShop at launch.
